Tesla takes New York Times to task for damning Model S review [cardvd-player.net]

Social media tête-à-tête between the New York Times and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, the result of a review by John Broder and defamatory New Tesla Model S Network “Supercharger” on the east coast, is warming significantly. Just yesterday, we synthesized the Twitter spat, and now expanded on the data recorded during test drive Musk Broder – adding more credibility to critique the NYT writer.
The smoking gun in this case, is the information that was captured by the data collector in the model S. Broder lent function of recording data is one that is enabled only for consumers, when permission was granted expressly, Musk says, but it is always activated in the case of media outlets. Thusly equipped vehicle Broder was keeping track of speed, load data, map data and more, presumably without prior knowledge of the writer.
The testimonies recorded by the car happens to contradict statements Broder most damaging of Tesla, Musk says in his article entitled A Test Drive details. First, and perhaps most shocking, S “state of grace” log shows that the test machine Broder “never lost power at any time.” Broder report indicated that the car was completely out of juice at one point and had to be evacuated in a truck. The data register also emphasized that the trip was made at speeds ranging from 65 to 81 mph, in which the writer claimed to have set the cruise control to 54 mph, with driving times as slowly as 45 mph.
Piece of moss also indicates that Broder – who apparently was driving test the charging network – not telling the truth about how long it charged its Model S. A parade of a type that explicitly loaded the car for 58 minutes in his second stop, the record indicates that he was in Supercharger for 47 minutes. Tesla says the writer charges your car to 90 percent capacity for the first phase, 72 per cent in its second and only 28 percent in its third – despite all their fears barely have enough energy to complete their leg of their journey.
At first glance, the data Tesla seems convincing to say the least. That said, we are no longer able to attest to the accuracy of the data recorded by us the claims of Mr. Broder. At least, it will be fascinating to see what the New York Times you respond if something so very serious, high-level assault on his credibility.
For its part, Tesla is taking Elon article as the final word on the subject. A spokesman for the company released this statement this morning. “Attention to anyone Tesla – including Elon -. Provide further comment on this matter forward as we feel the blog speaks for itself, right now, this post is the final statement of the company on the issue” We collect all the cards and Tesla graphics journey Broder attached in our gallery to take a closer look for you, too.
