Cadillac ELR, Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas win Eyes on Design awards [cardvd-player.net]

This year’s Annual Eyes on Design awards were presented on the last day of release for the Auto Show in Detroit on Tuesday. As for the best production and design concept car that debuted at the show, and voted on by a panel of esteemed designers of real cars, this year’s award for best production design for the vehicle was the 2014 Cadillac ELR. The Chevrolet Corvette, 2014, which was a favorite of the Autoblog editors apparently did not impress the eyes of the judges on design rather than with its newest design-vent garnish.
The prize for the best design concept was actually distributed as a link between Nissan and Ford Kent concepts Atlas. The winners of last year, the Ford Fusion and the Lexus LF-LC concept 2013.
Eyes of design organization also presented a new honor this year called Catalyst Award to Bob Lutz, former vice chairman of General Motors. Lutz is reported to have given a defense project in his acceptance speech, saying that progress in terms of quality throughout the industry as a whole has done a good key design differentiation for buyers.
