2013 Kia Optima SX Limited [cardvd-player.net]

Despite the fact that just came on the market, I have. Watching the 2013 Ford Fusion on the road for some time I live within 10 miles of Ford World Headquarters, and therefore prototypes and pre-series cars on the road is not a rare event.

It’s nice, the new Fusion. But while some people say quickly that the Ford sedan is the best-looking car in the class, I’m not so sure. After returning from the Paris Motor Show a few weeks ago, I came across this 2013 Kia Optima SX Limited wait at the airport, and as I was anxious to home, I could not help but to stop and lean Korean a good once over. It is not new, as the merger, but the Optima still keeps me dry every time I see it.

That is, the positives of Kia far beyond their good looks. It is a powerful turbocharged engine under the hood, libertine, and for the 2013 model year, is the limited SX trims all new, blingy the additional elements that also give more of a punch in the style.

Take Notes

I still have enough time 2013 with the merger and the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four, now spend rule engine, the 2.0-liter engine in the Optima, easily my favorite search engine is in the category of medium-sized companies. It has 274 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque on tap is great in a car of this size, and …
The way the power is delivered really the strength of this car. There is a small amount of turbo lag right side of the line, but then the power output is smooth and linear. The six-speed automatic is well-suited to provide maximum performance without mash the pedal, and the whole experience is truly rewarding.
If you really hammer the gas, there are some significant torque-line direction. But even when it was founded, the electronic steering is nothing to write home about in this car. It is better than other Korean offerings, but still feels artificial most of the time.
All updates for the SX Limited (except for an electronic parking brake) are purely cosmetic. Unique features include 18-inch polished aluminum chrome-ish, you can see here (with red calipers behind them), running together with attractive LED light bars just above the fog lights.
One word for wheels are nice, but what about the elegant 18-inch wheels of the standard Optima Turbo? The nature of the inverted-spoke design is really nice – some of my favorite wheels in the class.
Inside, the Limited models get high-grade Nappa leather, beautiful black cloth on the roof and pillars and woodgrain unique details. The coloration of the two-tone white-on-black of my test car looked great.
In general, the set one of my favorites Optima have on the inside of the class. It is comfortable and well equipped, and I love the driver-oriented center console with simple controls and well organized.
The thing, however, has limited test of this car SX. A sticker price of $ 35,275, including $ 775 for destination This represents an increase of $ 3,350 for a fully loaded SX – a lot of money for a little nicer leather, different (ie, not necessarily beautiful) wheels and LEDs pay. I like this limited Optima SX, but honestly, I feel the same way about a cheaper SX with the same turbo engine.
The Fusion 2.0L equipped likely prove tougher competition in the Optima in terms of style, content and dynamics. And while it’s certainly a formidable opponent, the Optima Turbo – Limited or not – actually worth a look.
